For the past 2 years I have been assisting Tahir Hemphill with his Rap Almanac project .

My role in the project has been to manage the java, php, javascript and python scripts for performing syntactical analysis of rap songs, and exposing an API that lets others manipulate this data. The database includes over 300,000 songs, in dozens of languages.
