A series of historical fiction stories with spiritual and/or magical aspects. This collection is one story away from being completed.
The Hermit’s Rest is a fictionalized account of a trip by Winston Churchill’s mother and father to the Grand Canyon. The style of the story is self-consciously formal, both as a reflection of its Edwardian context, and in order to provide a sober foil to the story itself, which is magical-realist.
